Horton Bridge (Tuesday 10th September 2019)

I had to abort my trip today when the Electric Power Steering suddenly started switching itself off. I pulled over by the canal at Horton and took a few pictures with two cameras before turning around, but no pictures were on the card of one of them for some reason, so this is the only picture I came home with, after dropping Archie off at the garage for them to look at in the morning.

Postscript (11.9.2019): I managed to retrieve the missing photos, for example this and this. It certainly was not because I'd removed the card from a different camera to the one I'd taken the pictures with ;-). Not such good news about Archie. She'll be out of action for a while without a steering column while the ESP motor is sent away for repair.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Van Morrison - Beside You (recorded live, 7-8 November 2008, Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles CA)
Astral Weeks may be one of the best albums of all time, but one person who didn't like it was Van Morrison. In 2008 he performed the whole album live the way he had always intended it to be, and an album of it followed. The concerts took place forty years after the release of the studio album. Jay Berliner, who played guitar on the record, appeared with the many other musicians at the concerts. The New York Daily News named Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl as one of the "Five Most Anticipated Pop Music Events for 2009", and the album won Live Album Of The Year at the MPG awards in 2010.
