t'roast

Good Lord, on this day sixty years ago, the first ever episode of The Saga of Noggin the Nog was broadcast. How time flies.
And goodbye Robert Frank: "Things move on, time passes, people go away, and sometimes they don’t come back.” That’s downbeat enough.
Up town to the first of the new season of Play, Pie & Pint - some fluff about three lads from Paisley attending T in the Park - from Paisley to Paolo; enlivened by much bantz about people who support Morton. Then on to meet the son and chat awhile at Artisan Roast and find him in a better and more genuinely reflective mood than of late. Ah, but talk’s easy.
Later up to the Diggers to find only the academic crew there; two of them used to be good pals with a certain C.Sutherland, now top legal beak who has declared Boris to be guilty of badness by "stymying Parliament". In those days CS was a big fan of Rugby League (he may still be) but now the Daily Mail has revealed he likes… jazz! Yup, that decadent and degenerate music. Unrobe the brute. Send him daaaan!
