Meeting Up

Main event of the day was Julia, our youngest, coming down from Manchester with her boyfriend, Tom, and his parents coming up from the south, so we could meet them. Chatted in the garden, then in the house, then at a pizza place in town. All very relaxed, which was good, considering all we're doing at the moment.

Gratefuls:
- getting house more in order, even washed all the conservatory glass, and new tap on the wet room shower
- getting garden less like a jungle, dry enough to do a second mowing
- the kind way Tom treats our daughter and his parents
