Raindrops on the Alchemilla Mollis.

It has been a misty, drizzly, damp and humid day.
I took the photo earlier this morning.
Since then it has remained grey and a little bit gloomy, but fairly mild.
We are having our new bed delivered tomorrow morning. A Super King Double consisting of two singles zipped together.
This has necessitated so much clearing out of old cupboards which won’t fit each side of the new bed, plus the drawers underneath, then buying new ones which will fit, that it has been a much bigger project than anticipated! At least we will both have more room, which seems to happen now we are longer in the tooth! Not to mention a different softness of mattress each! His nibs prefers fairly firm and myself medium soft!
The new bed therefore solves the problem.
A circular walk this afternoon passing conkers on the grass verges underneath the horse chestnut trees, acorns beneath the oaks and beech nuts bursting out of their hairy cases.
The mistiness somehow made everything feel quieter and muffled.
Bacon sandwich for tea with HP sauce. Yum!
