As the equinox draws near it gets dark earlier and earlier. Combine that with outside temperatures barely reaching double figures and rain spitting down and you get a day that feels coldly dank.
To counter that we fired up the wood burner and it worked really well. Within 45 minutes we'd opened the door to the stairs, and then the door to the upstairs from the stairs, all in a bid to spread the warmth through the whole house. The stove was a brilliant investment, as was all the work with the wood during the summer.
Any resemblance between Jan's blip and mine seems to prove that not too much actually happened today.
I popped another backblip up, this time the 8th September.
