Wild Cyclamen

Today was the annual outing for volunteers at Waddesdon Manor. We visited Anglesey Abbey near Cambridge. The weather was good and, apart from a delayed and then slow coach journey, it was an excellent day.

The house is completely different from Waddesdon being much smaller and more of a place to live rather than a place to show off one's collection. The gardens are stunning, particularly the dahlias. I got distracted though in the woodland walk with the small cyclamen - down low!

On the way back to Waddesdon now with camera club this evening when we will all share our new print exhibition and admire all the prints.
