Allotment produce today and resultant meal
After Yoga class and gym session this morning it was allotments this afternoon. Harvested 2 dreels of potatoes and forked over and cultivated the harvested area. Then it was time to think about my evening meal and to harvest the components for it: cabbage, baby squash, French, runner & heritage beans, heritage tomatoes, carrots, onions, baby corn and fresh herbs (parsley, fennel kale and coriander). Even although I am avoiding white and grey carbohydrates I could not resist the temptation of including one of the freshly harvested Inca gold potatoes. The meal was delicious served with beetroot that had been baked last night.
