The First One

Work is moving forward on the replacement of our old pier. Today it looked like the workers were placing the first of what I'm sure will be many concrete posts. I'm curious as to how they will bury it in the bottom of the bay, but I'm sure they have a plan. Otherwise, it will be one tall pier. I'll try not to post too many of these, but I suspect I will have many photos of the process as time goes by.
