Now, as I see it......

My kind of beach

This morning we visited the Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve at Cley Marshes. A beautiful sunny and warm morning, just right for watching birds from the hides and a walk around the reserve. We chose the shorter walk which is three and a half miles, part of which is along the beach where I took the shot. Only a few walkers and a couple of fishermen on the beach which was glorious with the sound of the surf and sight of the waves. The reserve is to the left protected by the shingle bank of the beach.

I've added three extras; an egret about to have his lunch, a view across the reserve with a flock of cormorants in the distance; I liked the blocks of colour in the shot, and a comparison shot showing the high tide in Blakeney three days ago compared with the same shot taken this morning.
