Green and pleasant land

Certainly compared with Morocco, although the countryside looks brown after prolonged warm weather.

Photo taken on our descent into Gatwick Airport. Couldn't really see how the airport might have been expanded.

Up at 0430 to get ready to leave for Ibn Batouta Airport. Mjidou was on time to collect us, we weren't. A group of British passengers in front of us held up the queue as they attempted to wedge two 'hand baggage' cases into the size restriction box. They'd never have been let off on Ryanair. Hand baggage size restrictions are clearly stated in the T&C. It was the wheels you see.

But the upshot was that a huge queue began to form behind us. I saw one of the women with her little suitcase later in the departure lounge. A manager must have decided to get the queue moving. She needs to buy another bag before flying again.

Congestion, of course, on the M25. At least smart motorways keep the traffic moving.
