Low level rainbow

We had another talk on the last day of the literary festival this afternoon.  It was the best of them all - John Lewis-Stempel discussing his latest book called Still Water - The Deep Life of the Pond.  He is so eloquent and gave us a fascinating insight into the usefulness of ponds from both the varied animal life and reducing carbon emissions.  Definitely worth reading.  

Otherwise it was a day at home.  At one point I caught sight of a low level rainbow in the distance before the clouds headed this way and we had some more rain.
