Colony of Artists

Managed a few hours at the Abbeyhill Colony of Artists this afternoon. Odd to be walking round with the sounds of the football derby coming from a short distance away - trying to work out the score based on the cheers. (And an echo of my Art Walk exhibition which is still up in Portobello.) As well as going to see my friend J, I also popped in to several of the photographers showing their work. Chatted with them about their pictures, about photography and about blipfoto. A couple in the extras - A, who was happy to get his picture taken, and L's exhibition but not her as she wasn't keen on a portrait. Also interesting photography chat with C and photo and book chat with A in his book shop, neither of whom I photographed unfortunately.
