Where were you when....?

This morning’s historic judgement by the Supreme Court will , I feel sure , become on of those “where were you when...” moments.

I was at Bute House and having just finished a Cabinet meeting we all , along with our officials, watched the verdict live in the drawing room, next to the Cabinet room .

There was a round of applause at the end - and then another for the Lord Advocate who had of course intervened in the case on behalf of the Scottish Government . . He is sitting in the foreground of the group shot , which was taken by my colleague Humza Yousaf.
