Above my head

A lovely sunny warm day with wonderful blue skies. This little long tailed tit was hanging around with it’s mates in one of the trees at the top of the garden It’s not very often that I see them against a blue sky.
I sorted out the readings for the Harvest Festival next week and gave the to the Brownies that were willing to read tonight.
We had a fantastic time at the Fire Station. The two Fire Fighters were brilliant.Lots of helpful fire safety learnt, a go in the Fire Engine, flashing lights and sirens and then a go with the hoses, fantastic fun and VERY wet Brownies at the end and a few wet leaders too ;)
