Fall Colors in the Gardens

I have been noticing a variety of colors of asters in the gardens. There are several shades of purples that I'm a particular fan of. In the mornings, the flowers are damp with dew and they hang down over the garden path.

Since it was hanging right in front of me, I decided to include one of the purples in the foreground, and a pretty yellow Adirondack chair in the background. Doesn't it make you want to stop and sit and just enjoy that purple for a while? It sure does for me!
