Escape From Emptying

House still not empty, but excited to have a night out with Mike, Deb and Paul; Sam very kindly looked after the kids. This was our train into New St, to watch "Downton Abbey" at my favourite little cinema, The Electric, the UK's oldest working cinema. A civilised drink at the bar, which you can carry into the film, and proper little tickets. The film wouldn't particularly have been my choice, having never seen the series, but only one we could fit in after a take-away with Sam and the kids. Still, there was some superb photography, and strange to think that the cinema we were in had been open for 18 years at the time the film was set, in 1927.

Gratefuls:
- a night off from packing up, a true escape into another world
- help from Deb, Sam and Paul today
- Zion's pleasure at being given an old gold tooth of mine!! real treasure.
