By the Work of Your Hands ...

Sholom Park is just down the road from where Connie and I live in central Florida. It is named after the grandfather of the park's benefactor and designer and, as it's name implies, is a peaceful place to walk meandering paths under Live Oaks draped with Spanish Moss or sit in the sun and meditate on happy things. Today I walked with my camera in hand and came away with a surplus or riches. It wasn't easy to choose which image would end up on this page, there were at least two others which are technically better photographs, but this one, a detail from the statue of the parks designer, spoke to me somehow.
