A police chopper hovering again

I heard the tell tale sounds of a helicopter circling around close by. They often pass overhead but when they hang about there is usually a story.

In years past there was a police training facility at our local police station and it was often cited as the reason for the incessant hovering of police choppers which seemed to be following either people or vehicles or both in and around the Five Valleys.

But it has been quieter for some time and today when I looked up through the lens I recognised the police were back. they circled over our house and The Horns valley to the east of the town for about five minutes before enlarging their circle's pattern. 

Then suddenly the circle became a tangent and off they went. I've no idea if there was a problem or whether the exercises were back. We'll never know.
