My home-made bread smells good

I discovered a packet of mixed grain bread mix which tempted me to switch on the bread maker. I was about ready for this level of hard work in the kitchen today. Once it cooked I luckily remembered to take the loaf out of the bread maker on time. I have tried just a slice or two, and can confirm it being edible. The rest has gone to the freezer.

The dull dusk light has done no favours to the colour balance, but the bread looks about right, even if the room's colour palette is a bit off.
