At the Cemetery

Today we buried my mother, father and aunt.
They all died several years ago and wished their ashes to be interred in the cemetery where the previous 4 generations of the family lie.
The church is now privately owned and the cemetery “closed” but there was no problem interring ashes there, once I found out how which has taken the best part of the year to organise!
The minister from Bathurst Cathedral gave a short service and we erected a nice monument and plaque.
It was a very successful event with almost all the descendants there.
The youngest generation of second cousins had a great time catching up with each other as well.
Afterwards we had lunch and spent the afternoon at 59’s house in nearby Bathurst.
