A pattern of ivy

I love how this ivy plant is creeping over the wall of the electrical sub station at the corner of the estate. Seen on my way to Open Church coffee morning, where Basil didn't get any biscuits except from Colin because he'd been sick. All seems well now.

More torrential rain and flooding widespread in the Soar Valley. The Black Brook is on the point of tipping over.

Cumberland Auto replaced the diesel filter on the van and it's  now starting  a treat. Len and I drove down to fetch it and I motored on to Hathern with Basil. Len joined us shortly after for a jolly good cup of tea at The Old Curiosity Shop, where a lady at the next table recognised me and Basil from photos on Facebook. You know that embarrassing  moment when you can't remember who the other person is?

A couple of extras of raindrops taken this morning. It was a good morning for it.
