Soft Rain

Light drizzle created layers of visibility looking across the lake aided by softer focus of the distant view resulting in a moody shot.

I lightened the foreground elements considerably to reduce the value contrast and blend with the far trees. Having chosen a low viewpoint to reduce the expanse of water in the frame and allow the wispy grasses to overlap the distant shore, they show up nicely against the darker woods.

I feel the tree branch poking in from the right does make the image somewhat unbalanced.
