I couldn't agree more.  There is something about October.  Our trees are finally putting on quite a show and the temperatures are now more fall-like.  I even smelled wood smoke the other day.  The leaves are crunching under foot and the smell of wild grapes and ripe apples is everywhere.  I am hoping to get to the fair later this week.  Country fairs go so well with October and I bought a wee pumpkin and some gourds to go with my mum plant yesterday.  Yes, there is something about October...
