Beep Egg

A Flying Blue gift from my favourite airline!  Well, not a gift, not really, but they sent the mail on my birthday.  I saw it as a way to spend some Miles that might otherwise expire.  What does it do?  You put it in the pan with the eggs and when it emits certain tunes, you'll know what kind of eggs you get -- soft, medium, or hard-boiled.  For the number of Miles it cost me, it's quite small, actually as small as a regular egg.  Instructions in four languages include 'Use only for boiling eggs' and 'Do not eat the Beep Egg, eat only the real eggs.'  Yea, right.

Went to work, worked, went back home ... how 'unique' is that.
