Jonathon and Ophelie's Wedding

Today was the day that our trip has been all about, the marriage of Jonathon and Ophelie. Jonathon is my nephew, or more correctly, Marian's nephew.

It was a wonderful occasion. We started at the church at 5pm and eventually left the reception at about 1.30 and people were still having a wonderful time. The meal was spread over much of that period, beginning outside the chateau as the sun went down and eventually inside for the speeches and the sit down meal, frequently interrupted by presentations about the couple, including a game of 'Mr & Mrs' very well done by Alison, Jonathon's sister.

By 1.30 am I felt I had eaten far too much and drunk plenty and we made our excuses. In an hour or so we all go back there for breakfast, but we do have to get on to our next stop this afternoon.

My blip is of Jonathon and Ophelie emerging from the church and an extra of them with Pip and Bruno, Marian's sister and Brother in Law. Everybody ought to experience a French Wedding, although I'm aware that many other festivities are available.
