Delving The Depths

Another night of torrential rain left standing water along the edge of the reeds providing an opportunity to photograph reflections overlaying leaves and twigs on the surface and below.

I like the strong lines created by the reeds and their reflection which lead into the image and the shadow under the log that adds a bit of depth and intrigue.

The rich browns and oranges create a dominance contrasted by a patch of green on the log.
