Bright and Beautiful

A full day at Waddesdon Manor meeting and greeting on the Main Door where all our visitors enter the House. It is really only checking tickets and bags as well as welcoming everyone of course. It was a quiet day with a steady trickle of visitors, so lots of time to chat with my fellow volunteer - we have the same sense of humour and work well together. Although we didn't have any rain, it was quite a chill wind, so several hours standing almost outside meant our breaks for a cup of hot tea were invaluable.

This evening I have spent a lot of time working on the photobook of our recent trip to Europe in the motorhome. It would be impossible to remember all the places we visited without the visual reminders, plus a few notes to make sense of it all.

The blip is from the bouquet I was given yesterday as a thankyou for the 'baby bump' photography. It is good to record the vibrance of the flowers which never seen to last very long.
