No crowds in October...

Now that summer and the cruise ships are past the town is so much quieter. On the outskirts where I live I no longer find couples puzzling over a map which does not cover as far as where they are and anyway is upside down!
Funny though when I ask if they are lost the women say yes while men invariably say no not lost; we just don’t know where we are!
Long lunch with a friend today which was most enjoyable.
