Short Tail

Dear Diary,

I'm not sure if Short Tail looks like he's eating an ear of corn or playing the harmonica with that peanut!  It is so much fun to sit on the back step and watch the to-ing and fro-ing.  Our couple of warmish days sends the chipmunks into a frenzy of feeding.  The color is about peak now so expect some red and orange landscapes!  I am hoping the weather co-operates so I can go the Sandwich Fair this Sunday.  It is the last fair of the year and, although small, one of my favorites.
