A blue day (OCB19)

Not our best day - last night we were discussing the last few things for our trip to New Zealand and today had a call to say our friends will have to cancel as one of them has had the results of a scan and must have a biopsy next week to check on the possible spread of a previous cancer.  No flying after the biopsy due to the risk of sepsis and depending on the results there may be a need to start treatment quickly. Hopefully it won't be more bad news and  their travel insurance will cover the cost of the trip.  Ours won't so we are intending to go - and if the situation were reversed we would be telling them to go - not that makes anyone happier. So we are all feeling 'blue' rather like this fish.

Gill's art group has an exhibition this weekend so we have been getting her paintings ready and putting the hanging cords on another friends art works - so one of them has become my blip.  Just a small section - I will be photographing the whole canvas before they go into the exhibition in case any are sold.
