In bloom

Mixed sun and cloud with some heavy rain showers and windy.

A busy day with visitors.   My step daughter this morning who stayed for lunch.   She has been full of cold and working extra shifts so has not been for a few weeks.   Always good to see her and hear of the antics of the grandchildren!

Then late afternoon, a visit from our friends we used to work with.   As usual lots of laughter and a promise to meet up to go to our local Indian restaurant soon.   

This Orchid I rescued from mum's as it had finished flowering and she asked me to throw it out but I brought it home and we have a new flower and buds.   She doesn't want it back as I expect she will have another bought for Xmas!
