A Lot Of Carpet.

In fact this is just some of the old carpet and underlay that was taken out.  They were rolling it up and stacking it in their van, once the pile got too high.

The carpet layers arrived before 7 am.

They worked solidly the whole day until  5pm.

They moved the furniture that we just couldn't put anywhere, without any problems.  In fact Peter had come over to help, and in the end there was very little he could do.

He did help us put some things back in the study, but in the end he went home, as he had to go to work.

It was a long day, but the carpet looks great.
