One of the old alleyways...

BBC have a new daytime programme which instead of escape to the country is Escape to the Perfect Town. I’m enjoying very much but of course I started wondering whether this town or that town might be the venue for my next holiday.
I often combine a city holiday with an HF walking holiday so just took a look at the HF website. I decided to stay south and ended up booking a week in Gloucester, a walking holiday in the Cotswolds and a few days in Bristol to finish off. The Cotswolds are very different than anywhere else I’ve been walking; much more gentle. But there seems to be plenty of geocaches and the HF house is nit too remote so if I decide to take days off to geocache it should work well. Not what I expected when I got up yesterday morning...
So who knows what this afternoon may bring.

As for this morning. My back is still a bit dodgy so I just went into town for some shopping and now a lazy day in front of the telly. Today’s “perfect town” is Sevenoaks in Kent which I’m not familiar with.
