Imhotep

This is the sarcophagus of Imhotep and he will have his last outing tonight in our play ‘The Curse of the Mummy’.
Thought it would be a shame for him to not reach a wider audience as he was made by Mr Corinthian Column, one of our set building team, and we were all impressed when we saw him. He looks particularly good from the auditorium with the gold gleaming under the stage lights.
We had another good audience last night and the went well with one or two errors which easily creep in when you’ve had a week off! Midgehole Dave and Bezzie Pet were in last night but sadly I was unaware and didn’t spot them. You can see our Imhotep and me, in his blip from last night - here https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2629450442530095346
As always with these productions it is a hard slog getting there, especially for the Director, but great fun when you get out there on the performance nights especially when people are enjoying it.
So here we go, another ‘Silly Saturday’!
