STIFT KLOSTERNEUBURG

We visited today the Stift Klosterneuburg, just outside Vienna.
First Underground nr. 4 till Heiligenstadt, then the bus 400 along the river Donau (Danube) till Leopoldsberg.
From below we had a marvellous view of the Stift and Church. We climbed the steps, had an espresso in the open, although the wind blew too hard.
We walked around and it was there that I saw this beautiful tree before the monastry. We had decided to follow a guide tour (90 minutes) of the history of the Stift, the church, the Verdun Altar, Chambers of the Emperor and the famous Marmor Hall. It was impressive.
When we came out, the sun shone and I wanted to walk towards the Donau and walk a bit along the river.
It took a long time to reach the river, and we did not walk along it, but after drinking a tea, we walked the same way back and entered the bus, and Underground.
Yesterday evening and today' s early morning I had fun time with the silly Images and I commented on each. As you perhaps have noticed not as extensive as I normally do, but still with much pleasure.
