Arivegaig tractor

We are staying in Arivegaig on Kentra Bay. In the dim early morning light we saw a stag walking across the sands of the bay. (Too far out, and too dark for a photograph, but a delight none the less.)

Our first outing was a walk from the cottage to the small bay of Singing Sands. The sands are reported to make noise when walking on them. But only when dry, which was never going to happen this week.

At the start the walk we met this strange sight. I'm unsure if it's an art installation, or if it was just abandoned here.

My extra is a view back across the bay to Arivegaig. Our cottage for the week is the one on the right.
