Autumn from the bedroom window
It's been a strange autumn so far - no frosty weather, no major colour, just a gradual change over the last few weeks.
This is the double form of the native cherry - Prunus avium 'Plena' , the double gean, as it's called. This is the first time in my life that I've actually owned any trees, so it's rather special! The spare bedroom window looks out over the hill to the north-east and it was lovely today with the sun lighting up the cherry leaves.
I'll be taking my computer in to the repair man, probably in the morning, so I might have to revert to a phone Blip tomorrow! Not again!
