Hanworth at 7.30am...

Softly, softly
Rises Autumn from a soft damp bed,
Lifting the dew topped fungi,
To shine in a sunlight born from the sunrise.
Air, speckled with particles of the new day,
Dance to a treasured dawn chorus.
Then slowly, evaporate. Taken there on the brand new morning's breeze.
Breaking the graceful silence,
Horse chestnuts, cocooned,
Smatter the sod.
Squirrels quick to harvest,
Dart, between the Game.
Softly begins this magical new day

Nothing to say about my day, so wrote a poem on the bus. It had to end there as I'm now at my stop....
