2,624 year old cypress tree

2,624 year old cypress tree.  Not in my backyard!  I planted these when they were seedlings the size of my pinky finger.  

When my Dad brought this article to my attention, I knew I needed to share my cypress trees. The cypress trees in the article are only about 20 miles from my house.  Thank goodness they are difficult enough to get to that even with the publicity there will not be an influx of tourists come to see them.  Even by kayak they can be difficult to access.
