Running Deer

It was a beautiful morning and I very much enjoyed shooting fungi and butterflies in the sunshine in my shirtsleeves. I got a nice shot of a shaggy parasol with a nursery web spider sheltering from the rays on its stem and I captured my first amethyst deceiver. I got loads of red admiral images and a lone comma visited the grapevine too.

As Ollie dog and I arrived at Lodge Farm after lunch this small herd of deer ran across the farm track. We saw a few deer well in the distance the other day for the first time in ages.
