Traffic Light Mayhem

Been thinking of trying this shot for the October Colour Blitz… Three bright splashes of colour - but wait - the traffic lights are all on at the same time….but no, it is actually three separate shots layered in photoshop with appropriate ‘holes’ cut in the layers to reveal all the colours. I didn’t forget the repeater lights in the background ;-)

These random lights were installed in the village after a road ‘improvement’ program left a junction with dangerously poor visibility! It was cheaper to put lights in afterwards than to regrade the junction. They are ‘automatic’ in that they stay red in all directions until a vehicle approaches when they will change in the favour of the vehicle - a bit frustrating for cyclists and horses though!
