Old Friends

We finally got the sun back after the rains (and a pair of tornadoes) from Tropical Storm Nestor. I left on my morning camera roll intent on capturing one of the ferociously cute little guys along what I've come to think of as Squirrel Road. I accomplished my mission within the first 10 minutes, so I rolled on to the pond and watched the birds and some old friends sailing their model sailboats. Now that I think about it Old Friends pretty much wraps up this morning's theme - my buddies the squirrels, my friends the birds, and the gentlemen sharing the park bench.

A good start to a day that will be filled with chores and errands ... and the adventure through the viewfinder continues.
