Germany day 6 Warnemunde and Rostock

The morning began with sunshine. It was cold but the sun was out and slowly Warnemunde came to life. It is a beautiful seaside town with a sandy beach and lots of restaurants, fishing boats and fish stalls. It is a district of the city of Rostock, in Meckleburg, and is one of the world's busiest cruise ports. Today it was very quiet. The season is coming to a close.

We took the local bus and metro to Rostock and walked around the centre in heavy rain. Never mind.....!

Just one photo today, the town square in Rostock. More wonderful architecture and colourful buildings.

And we watched a red squirrel, in my extra,  as he buried his winter stash.

All aboard by 21.30 to set sail again at 22.00. Time to warm up before dinner. We watched Rocketman after dinner. A sad movie......
