Scott & Shakespeare...

I was in Birmingham ( briefly) speaking to the plenary of the British Irish Parliamentary Assembly.

I quoted Scott at one stage later this evening ( Marmion) and then looking at the pictures I had snatched at various stages realised there was a second Scott connection in the day because this is Kenilworth Castle , which we flew past on the approach to Birmingham Airport .

And I spoke in the Arden Suite of the Forest of Arden Hotel , which meant that I had to use something from “As you like it”....
