Tipsy's Plot

Today was very foggy and the rivulets of moisture condensing on the garden memorial to our dear cat Tipsy caught my eye, making it stripped - like a tiger! The company who made this galvanised metal plaque modelled it on an actual photograph of the cat that I took as she traversed the roof of our summer cabin. When the daffodils in this plot are fully grown the memorial is totally submerged in a riot of yellow. The fact she is buried below may have something to do with this!
For any gardener reading this, the distant plot was sown with field beans in September which will be dug into the ground in the spring as green manuring to fertilise the soil. I've never tried this before and I was surprised the crop was not killed off by the early frosts in November.
