Windy and Grey

Some Mourão chimneys behind a pink peppercorn tree, on our way to the Team's house, to watch Green Book, loved the film, just sad that the horrible stuff still goes on today. In the interval, we went to Sr Zé's and had soup and pork sandwiches.

Got our hitchhiker guest to write down his name: Przemyslaw (the l has a line through it); you can see a photo of him here. However hard we tried, still couldn't pronounce it to his satisfaction. Mike left him at a roundabout in Spain this morning, and after he'd got the steel he went for, no sign of him, so we presume he got a lift.

Gratefuls:
- good chat with Paul, our son
- finishing Ammonites and Leaping Fish, by Penelope Lively, a deeply interesting look at old age, memory, history, how our reading shapes us, and six things in her house that articulate who she is. What six things would you choose?
- getting a parcel ready that I've been trying to do for ages, though didn't make the post office in time
