Recycling

Following on from yesterday’s shopping trip, the final destination for much of the packaging is the recycling bins.

 We try to recycle as much as possible. Today, I added more plastic to our bright green wheelie bin, the contents of which are the subject of today’s Blipfoto. I did make a minor change to make reading the various labels more difficult.

Of course, we recycle food waste with garden cuttings in the correct bin. We have a separate bin for paper, and a separate bin for landfill which is surprisingly full of plastic stuff from shopping which cannot be recycled.

Recycling is good for the environment, but it would be so much better if we did not have so much wrapping came from one source.

Follow up from Sunday. The `Hermes Delivery driver came to our door to deliver a package for us and another one for the mystery address.

Pat told him that I had delivered the Sunday package to the mystery address, We had a chat and I told him where Boulterhall was. The last time he delivered there it was called Boulter Cottage.

He did thank me for making the delivery which was fine.
