The Modesty Screen from the room.

Thursday’s entry is very abstract and Heanku did wonder how the modesty screen appeared within the room. Here it is photographed from within the room.

The stair starts it’s descent with a quarter wheel and then a short flight of 8 steps to a landing which links with the original stone staircase.

The weather today is blue sky, bright sun and tree leaves continuing to turn to different autumn shades. Very pleasant but with a sharp cold wind from the North.

I have taken several potential Blipfoto candidates, but sadly, none worthy of posting. I will have to wait a few more days and see how the colour change continues.

Just read the great news that our neighbours in the South have beaten New Zealand All Blacks for a place in the Rugby World Cup Finals.

Strictly Halloween tonight and Mexican F1 qualifying with Spiral in between on TV. Too much for one night, so will record it all and look at it later.

The clocks "fall back" tonight which means lighter mornings for a few weeks and darker evenings. Only 57 days to the shortest day. It also means the potential of one hour longer in bed tonight.
