Mushroom Medley (Fungi)

A fine morning which we used to walk in the countryside to the east of Bearsted around Carling Lane. It has indeed been a fine season for fungi and this small collection is no exception. Nicely arranged for the average blipper.

There was a cool, sharp easterly breeze which belied the bright sunshine. We were ready for lunch by the time we arrived home. Appetites still not recovered from last week's bug, neither have energy levels. True to form, too much too soon.... Especially after the exertions of yesterday with the work in the garden. The Council were on the driveway at 7.00am collecting the old fence panels. Well done, something good to say about them!

A tour of garden centres and nurseries in this afternoon to pick up some winter flowers and peat-free compost. Practised singing and playing "Hallow's Eve" by Show of Hands for tonight's Marmite Ukulele Jam session. It's a Halloween Special. I can sing the song badly, I can play the song badly but put the two together and it is even worse.
