Circus In Town

Zihuatanejo is experiencing not one, but two circuses at the moment. There is the "red & yellow" circus out by the lagoon and the "blue" circus on the main road to the highway. In the United States, it would be one circus at a time, guaranteeing that anyone who wanted to see clowns and performing animals would go to the monopoly attraction in town at the time. Here in Mexico it seems that the circuses work much like industry-specific stores, if one is good then more must be better. There are whole streets devoted to one type of store or another, don't like this upholsterer, then go right next door for a different choice. Of course, for all we know the store next door is owned by the first store's brother or cousin and the whole block is controlled by one family. I don't think it is like that with the circuses as each has its own look characterized by the color of their Bigtop, the only way I can tell them apart.
